BUY MEN'S BOARDSHORTS

This summer, hit the water in a pair of boardshorts from dedicated surf brands Rip Curl, O'Neill and Billabong. A pair of boardies has become a staple in every man's wardrobe. Our huge Men's Boardshorts range covers you from performance boardshorts to the ever-popular laid-back volleys. Stay on top of your fashion game with graphic shorts or keep it classic with a plain pair.

Do Boardshorts Run True To Size?
Yes, boardshorts run true to size. There is no need to size up or down with boardies, although a snugger fit helps avoid wardrobe malfunctions if you are surfing or swimming. A looser fit may be more comfortable for casual wear. A fixed waistband tends to have less give, while an elastic waistband offers more flexibility and can be more forgiving.

What Lengths Do Boardshorts Come In?
Boardshorts typically come in a range of outseam lengths (the length from the waistband to the bottom of the leg), usually measured in inches. Boardshort length is a personal choice - performance, comfort, and showing off your muscles are all factors! Here's a breakdown of standard lengths:

Do You Wear Undies Under Boardshorts?
That's purely a personal choice!!! Remember, all our boardies are quick-drying, so wearing cotton undies when swimming can cause irritation. Cotton soaks up water, dries slowly, and can cause chafing.

What Is The Point Of Boardshorts?
Boardshorts (or boardies) were initially designed for surfers. Their primary purpose is to provide comfort, function, and durability in the water. They generally do not have an inner liner, which can cause chafing, and surfers usually wear longer-length boardies, which offer better protection against surfboard wax.

What Are Boardshorts Made Of?
Boardshorts are typically made of lightweight, quick-drying synthetic materials designed for comfort, durability, and performance in the water. Most boardies have:
- a DWR (water-repellent coating) to help fabric shed water instead of soaking;
- UPF protection to shield from UV rays;
- 4-way stretch, which is excellent for surfing and water sports;
- Anti-chafe seams which reduce rubbing during sessions.

What To Wear With Boardshorts?
Pair your boardies with a surf tee for a laid-back look, or throw on a rashie when it’s time to hit the waves. If you’re rocking boardshorts year-round, stay warm up top with a cosy hoodie or jumper

Choose the boardshort that balances comfort, durability, and style to suit your surf and sand adventures.
