Wrist Guards

Wrist guards are protective gear worn on the wrists to provide support and prevent injuries during physical activities, particularly those that involve the use of hands and wrists, such as snowboarding. They are made of sturdy plastic and are designed to absorb impact and distribute forces away from the wrists.

The primary purpose of wrist guards is to prevent or reduce the severity of wrist injuries, such as sprains, fractures, or ligament damage. Our wrist guards feature a rigid splint that sits on either side of the wrist and is held in place with adjustable velcro to provide stability. The splint helps limit the wrist joint's range of motion, preventing it from bending too far or in an unnatural direction during a fall or impact. They should be snug enough to prevent shifting or slipping during activity but not so tight as to restrict blood circulation or cause discomfort.

It's important to note that wrist guards are not foolproof and cannot completely eliminate the risk of wrist injuries. However, they can provide additional protection and support, especially for individuals engaging in high-impact or high-risk activities.
